Are you an experienced yacht sales professional with a passion for sailing and powerboats? We are seeking a Brand Manager to lead and develop the Beneteau sail and inboard power division within a prestigious marine sales group. This is a high-profile leadership role, responsible for driving sales growth and managing key relationships with customers and manufacturers.
About the RoleAs Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the Beneteau range within the company’s extensive marine portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, overseeing inventory management, and enhancing brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Management: Oversee Beneteau boat orders, stock levels, and delivery schedules.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead complex client negotiations and optimize deal structures to maximize customer satisfaction and business profitability.
  • Team Development: Provide leadership, training, and direction to the new boat sales team across multiple locations.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop sales forecasts and implement strategies to exceed budget targets.
  • Manufacturer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with Beneteau factory representatives, negotiating annual targets and special requirements.
  • Marketing & Digital Presence: Manage Beneteau’s online and offline brand positioning, including website content updates and marketing initiatives.
  • Event Management: Represent the brand at major UK and international boat shows, ensuring a strong exhibition presence.
  • Client Engagement:  oversee sea trials, delivering expert product knowledge to potential customers.
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive knowledge of the marine industry, particularly in sail and inboard powerboats.
  • Proven success in yacht sales and brand management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Flexibility to work weekends during peak seasons and boat shows.
