Our client is looking for a Mid-Weight FF&E Designer to join one of the superyacht industries' leading designers, based in London.
With the oppertunity to take the lead on projects, work with a fantastic team on stunning project!
This company has a long history of ultra high end design projects within the marine sector, this incredible brand has worked on some of the largest and most beautiful yachts in the world. Their success has continued to evolve and now, as a result, they are increasing the size of their team to ensure they can maintain both their high quality of work and their increasing workload.
Reporting into the department head, the role of FF&E Designer will be key in the successful completion of customer projects. Aligning with the brands signature design style, the role will include, but not be limited to, the following duties:
- Working in collaboration with the Head of FF&E team to realise the client brief
- Generation of sketches, mood boards and renderings for client presentation
- Selection of unique furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Leadership of the FF&E projects through to completion
- Close interaction with the interiors department
- A close working relationship with the FF&E Buyer to assist with project procurement
- Ongoing client liaison
- Population of the in-house FF&E library
As an individual you will be a passionate FF&E design professional with a creative mind and a strong ability to put ideas down on paper, a love of all things design and a drive to stay abreast of how the industry trends develop. With at least 3 years experience in the design of interior fittings, furniture and accessories for large yachts or high end residential, you will be used to working as a key team member to provide high quality work that mirrors your companies signature style. Alongside your creative skills, you'll be meticulously organised and confident in working with clients and teams alike, showing tenacity and understanding of the needs of all stakeholders.
