Marine Resources have exciting full tiem permanent position for a an experienced Composite Technician based in Hampshire.
My client are a world-leading manufacturer of carbon fibre lifting solutions for the superyacht industry.. Their team crafts innovative solutions in a dynamic and supportive environment with a variety of work involved.
Responsibilities:
Preparation for Painting: Ensure components are correctly prepared, involving sanding, masking, and other surface prep tasks.
Painting: Assist in painting, applying finishes with attention to detail and quality control.
Laminating and Infusion: Participate in laminating tasks, including wet and infusion methods for composite materials.
Collaborative Work: Work closely with a skilled team of engineers and craftsmen involved in various aspects of boat building, composite structure creation, and custom designs.
Requirements:
Experience in preparation and painting, ideally in a composite or manufacturing environment.
Some experience with laminating, particularly with wet and infusion processes.
Flexibility to work across various production stages as needed.
Work Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
