Marine Resources are excited to be representing a leading global rigging service provider, renowned for delivering engineered solutions on all types of rigging systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Rigger to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for stepping and commissioning projects on some of the world’s most prestigious yachts, from superyachts to race yachts, maintaining the highest standards within the marine industry. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Riggers, Designers, Contractors, and Mast Technicians to ensure successful project delivery. Your primary focus will be rigging and practical maintenance of masts and booms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stay up to date with all project communications and provide input when needed.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable company services or products.
• Contribute to the development of technical and practical rigging solutions.
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the project.
• Understand project budgets and timelines, contributing to proposals and estimates.
• Liaise on multiple international projects with various stakeholders.
Essential Experience and Skills:
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Professional sailing experience or experience as shore crew.
• Knowledge of carbon fibre products, mechanical works, and hydraulics/electrical systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
• A valid driving licence.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects and work under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary & Benefits:

• Potential to be seconded to top race teams, including America’s Cup teams.
