Proficiency in designing with steel and aluminum is essential. Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring customer requirements are met, and classification approval is achieved. Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and client shipyards.
- Ensure project compliance with customer requirements and achieve classification approval.
- Contribute to the overall quality and standards of deliverables within the discipline.
- Actively share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
- Manage work quality and complete assigned tasks transparently and efficiently.
- BSc, MSc, or degree-level qualification in Naval Architecture or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Rhino.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations, Classification, and Flag rule sets.
- Experience in ship systems and their impact on integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with sound engineering judgment.
- Commercial awareness and ability to ensure works are completed to standards and budget.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites or attend exhibitions and events.
- Willingness to be in the office three times per week
