Position: Control Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to develop advanced control systems for hybridization, electrification, and foiling flight control in the marine industry.
- Utilize the power of Matlab and Simulink to design, model, and simulate groundbreaking control systems.
- Specify and integrate cutting-edge systems, sensors, and actuators into control systems.
- Develop, test, and optimize control algorithms, ensuring precise and efficient vessel performance.
- Conduct in-depth system analysis, modeling, and simulation to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for seamless integration into overall vessel designs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implementation and testing phases.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Matlab Simulink for control system design, modeling, and simulation.
- Strong understanding of C programming language for implementing control algorithms.
- Experience in specifying and integrating systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Knowledge of marine industry, powertrain electrification, and foiling system control is a plus.
- Familiarity with system analysis, modeling, and simulation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to cross-functional teams.
