Working for one of the most established and highly rated leisure marine companies with a history in sailing in all its forms and strong racing pedigree our client ships goods worldwide and as such we are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to join the team in a dynamic role that combines logistics, shipping management, and stores operations.
This position involves overseeing shipping arrangements, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring the smooth flow of inventory through effective stores management.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating with various teams to ensure timely dispatch and efficient operations.
Ideally you will have previous experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, along with a solid understanding of stores operations, including inventory management and the receipt of goods.
Proficiency in using computer systems is required especially Excel and experience with Navision would be highly advantageous but not essential!

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping arrangements for domestic and international transport.
- Prepare and ensure compliance with all required export paperwork.
- Work with the sales team to improve back-order dispatch, ensuring any delays are communicated and products are shipped promptly upon arrival.
- Assist with receiving, booking in, and organizing stock when necessary
- Coordinate with purchasing to identify and address shortages in stock.
- Liaise with sales and credit control teams to address customer account issues, including managing accounts on hold.
