Client Project Manager – Marine Industry

Are you an experienced skipper with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you have a technical sales or project background in the marine industry? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name in yacht sales and commissioning.

The Role:
As a Client Project Manager, you will oversee the commissioning process for new yachts—from arrival to handover—ensuring each project is completed to the highest standard. Acting as the main point of contact for designated clients, you will provide technical sales advice, coordinate installations, and ensure every boat is tailored to the owner's specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Be the primary client contact post-contract, ensuring an outstanding experience
✅ Advise on and manage post-factory customisation options
✅ Source and procure additional equipment, negotiating with suppliers
✅ Oversee commissioning, scheduling technicians and subcontractors
✅ Coordinate overseas commissioning and delivery logistics
✅ Manage project budgets, ensuring cost accuracy before final invoicing
✅ Lead a seamless handover and provide post-delivery follow-up

What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Essential: Skipper experience (power & sail)
🔹 Desirable: Technical sales knowledge (thrusters, stabilisers, connectivity, power systems)
🔹 Project management or yacht manufacturing background beneficial
🔹 Excellent communication skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
🔹 Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
🔹 Willingness to travel in the UK and Europe for factory visits and commissioning if required.
