Marine Resources have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager who comes from a strong composite background to be based on the South Coast but with frequent travel to Poland.
Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, and innovation of advanced composite spar systems, rigging, and components for high-performance sailing yachts. Their products include masts, booms, and rigging systems, primarily made from carbon fibre and other cutting-edge composite materials.
We are recruiting for a skilled Production Manager with expertise in composite materials and manufacturing to oversee production operations at the company’s facility in Poland. This role involves a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement to ensure that production processes are efficient, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead production operations, focusing on advanced composite manufacturing processes such as lamination, curing, and finishing.
Develop and maintain robust health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and fostering a safe working environment.
Ensure production aligns with industry quality standards and certifications, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide training and support to production teams, developing their skills in composite materials and manufacturing techniques.
Actively participate in production tasks as needed, offering technical guidance and problem-solving expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a production management role within the composites industry, ideally you will come from a boat building background
Deep knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership and team development skills.
Flexibility to travel internationally as required
