Based in Hamble and founded under a decade ago this marine company has been on a mission and is well set to continue its expansion underpinned by a high performing back office team of which this role is a pivotal part.
As such we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Procurement/ Supply Chain manager to support the teams and supplier partners both here and in Europe, with the main remit being initially, to expand and optimise the European supply chain and then build a team here in the UK.
As part of this role you will regularly engage with the executives and founders of the business putting forward and promoting ideas to create that robust lean supply chain and success in this role will require developing and implementing processes for tracking purchasing KPIs renegotiation of supplier contracts/SLA’s and growing with the rapidly evolving needs of the company.
Working with a European production facility it’s a great chance to combine your passion and expertise in Procurement/supply chain management and processes whilst helping drive forward business growth.

- Identify and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities
- Manage and ensure compliance in all aspects of the procurement process with education to business and supplier base as required.
- Manage supplier performance; segment supplier base and routinely schedule and review suppliers’ KPI performance to ensure expectations are met and value is attained.
- Perform risk management on supply contracts and purchase agreements
- Work with project managers to fulfill purchasing needs
- Acting as POC for supply chain partners
