What’s Involved?This role will require a mix of procurement expertise and technical understanding. You’ll work closely with the Design and Project Management teams, ensuring components are sourced accurately, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day procurement tasks, making decisions to streamline processes.
- Negotiating with suppliers to maintain strong relationships while driving cost savings.
- Identifying and securing new suppliers to widen options and improve negotiating power.
- Reviewing weekly and stock reports to pre-empt any potential issues.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Experience in marine fit-out components or a similar technical field.
- Strong procurement skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll need to liaise with design, project management, and finance teams to keep everyone aligned.
- High energy and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset – the company operates a flat structure where collaboration is key.
