Key Responsibilities
  • Lead composite design and engineering efforts, ensuring optimal performance and structural integrity.
  • Develop innovative composite solutions for vessel structures and components.
  • Conduct material selection, weight estimation, and performance analysis with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with structural, hydrodynamic, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of composite elements.
  • Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence throughout.
  • Utilize advanced design and analysis tools such as Rhino, AutoCAD, and FEA software to create and validate designs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing modern optimization techniques and best practices in composite engineering.
Key Requirements
  • A degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven expertise in composite materials and structural design for marine applications.
  • Strong understanding of stability, classification, and vessel concept development.
  • Experience with weight estimation and structural analysis in a marine environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Rhino, AutoCAD, and FEA tools.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to manage complex engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with modern optimization techniques and the ability to develop bespoke tools in Python or similar (desirable).
