Marine Resources are looking for a diverse and experienced composite expert to work with cutting edge business between their UK and European facilities.
Our client is at the forefront of bringing engineering technology into the marine sector and undertakes builds in high performance and superyacht sectors, creating products that are ‘Concorde moments’ that will shape the future of the industry.
They are expanding their team and seeking a talented and motivated ‘Process Transfer Technician’ to join in assisting the engineering team, adding crucial capacity to shop floor process engineering capabilities. This role will blend some hands on work as well as office based work.
In this role, you will be the conduit between the office-based engineering team in the UK and the manufacturing team on site in Europe.
The ability to work abroad regularly is a requirement of this position.

Responsibilities:
- Apply your practical knowledge and hands-on skills to set up and optimise shop floor processes, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality boat construction.
- Utilise your excellent people skills to work effectively with colleagues, providing guidance and support as needed to enhance overall team performance.
- Ideally will come from a vocational skills-based course or a related boat builder course.
- Several years of shop floor experience in a manufacturing or boat building environment.
- Experience in infusion laminating techniques highly desired.
- Previous involvement in start-up processes, showcasing your ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.
- Excellent people skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
