As our client continues to expand their operations, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant with a strong grasp of finance principles to join a dynamic team.
We’re looking for a purchasing assistant to work with one of markets newest electric engine manufactures, who are currently in a sustained period of growth. You’ll be working closely with the office manager and sales team to ensure a smooth process and a high level of customer services.
Because of the nature of the business within marine ideally, we are looking for someone that has knowledge of this industry be it from a leisure or commercial perspective. Great culture, great team ethic. Easily accessible for commuters along the south coast with the opportunity for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement process by liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components required for production.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and address any issues that arise in a timely manner.
- Assist in tracking purchasing expenses and comparing them to budget allocations, highlighting any discrepancies or overspending.
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and other procurement-related documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
