We are looking for a Talent Manager to join an exciting business with a rich history spanning over several decades, who have built a strong reputation for their exceptional products and services. As a leader in the industry, they are now expanding the business beyond the marine sector, diversifying into new markets and industries. With this expansion, they are on a mission to grow their staff from 8 to 24 members, as such this new role has been created.
As a Talent Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition for new staff members, managing various HR elements, and contributing to the overall success of the expansion plans. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a renowned brand and be part of an exciting growth phase.
We’re happy to look at full time or part time candidates from either a TM background or a more Generalist HR background, all candidates should be confident and experienced. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various roles within the company.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new staff members have a smooth transition into the organisation.
- Create and implement talent development strategies to support the growth and career progression of our employees.
- Oversee performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and providing feedback.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and design appropriate learning and development programs.
- Act as a resource for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Monitor employee engagement and implement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management to ensure the company remains competitive and attracts top talent.
