You will be an integral part of the process of getting new build vessels into the hands of clients!
This role is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Get tangible results from your installation work.
- Work with your hands outside of a production environment.
- Have the satisfaction to see your work appreciated by satisfied customers during handover.
- Rare chance to blend practical work and getting on the water.
- In this role you will take a full and active role in planning, coordination and execution of the commissioning process of new vessels as well as supporting in warranty work, ensuring boats are leaving in accordance with quality control and all aftersales items fitted to the correct standard.
- You will carry out a full and thorough handover of the boat to the client, including a sea trial, in accordance with the company’s guidelines ensuring that all documentation is completed and returned as required.
- Work will be based in Southampton with occasional travel required away from the area and abroad.
- Recent and relevant working knowledge within the leisure marine industry – this is a prerequisite of the role.
- Proficient boat handling skills, particularly sailing boats. RYA qualifications an advantage.
- Boat building skills/qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team.
- Current holder of a UK driver’s license.
